On Thursday September 29th at 6pm we will gather at DV8 Distillery (Boulder’s only queer club) to celebrate our extended cooperative community, enjoy live performances, craft cocktails, free food, wild dancing, and a silent auction – all while supporting permanently affordable housing in Boulder. The event will be family-friendly from 6:00-9:00.
- Classical and jazz piano with Ostara resident, Gio Barabadze
- Indie folk guitar with Ostara alumni Max Gregor
- Queer blues-punk duo Unusual Needs, with Ostara resident Spirit
- Trans indie-rock trio, The Transromantics
At 9:00, we’ll wrap up the silent auction, send the kids home, and move on to a saucy late-night special with amazing entertainment by DV8 performers, including a housing-justice themed strip tease with Paisley Peach, shibari with Anita Margarita, soulful inspiration with Tiara Latrice, a musical experience with King Slim, and end the night with punk-jazz dance jams by DJ Innocence Killz.
Throughout the night we will enjoy free pizza Cosmos and snacks and desserts from Community Table Kitchen.
For the first time ever, we’ll have Boulder Housing Coalition stickers, pins, mugs, tote bags and t-shirts.
