BHC First Annual Fundraiser and Talent Show

Come one, come all to the Boulder Housing Coalition’s First Annual Fundraiser and Talent Show! This magical evening of cooperation and community will bring together current co-opers, alumni, and our friends and allies in the community to celebrate and support the BHC!
In the true spirit of cooperation, the evening’s entertainment will be by co-opers, for co-opers! Come watch all the wonderfully talented members of our community performing music, poetry, comedy, and showcasing all kinds of other amazing talents!
But wait, there’s more – there will also be a Silent Auction running throughout the event. And you won’t just be bidding on boring old stuff you could find in a store – potential auction items also include a unique piece of art made by a co-oper, a massage from a licensed massage therapist, or a weekend getaway to a cabin in the mountains! This is a great opportunity to score yourself an awesome artifact or an unforgettable experience while supporting your favorite local co-op network!
There will also be tasty food and craft beer available, as this event will be held at Sanitas Brewing Co.’s outdoor event space. We encourage everyone to support our hosts by purchasing food and/or beverages at the bar and taco truck, but please note that the BHC will not receive any proceeds from food and drink sales at this event.
Tickets are on a sliding scale, so please select from the options available and pay what you are willing to donate! All proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction will go to the BHC’s operating reserves. All ticket tiers $15 and up come with a free drink token at the event!
If you are interested in performing in the talent show, please fill out this form. Note that this is a family-friendly event, and your act should meet that standard. Anyone who performs in the talent show will get free entry to the event. Even better, you’ll also be entered into a raffle to win cool prizes like a free drink at the event or a $25 Lucky’s Market gift card! The deadline to sign up for the Talent Show is September 21st.
We are still looking for items and experiences to be donated to the Silent Auction, and volunteers in a few roles. Anyone who donates something or volunteers in one of these roles will get free entry to the event and be entered into the raffle mentioned above! Please fill out this form if you would like to donate or volunteer.
If you are unable to attend the event in person but still want to show your support for the BHC, you can still buy a ticket for the amount you want to donate, and/or donate items to the silent auction!
